Mô tả công việc To explore the sourcing opportunities in the South East Asia & Develop the suppliers in South East Asia to become the global suppliers to supply their components to GE Renewable Energy business.
This position is tasked with developing commodity strategies, achieving deflation targets, managing supply risk. Managing outcomes related to the commodities of GE Renewable Energy as mechanical parts (casting,machining, fabrication, forging), Electrical parts (cable, wire harness etc), Standard components etc.
In this role, you will:
•Looking for potential suppliers not only in Vietnam but also in South East Asia
•Supporting and developing the current suppliers and potential suppliers to become global suppliers for GE Renewable Energy Business.
•Work closely with respective GCL /CCL/Buyer specialist/SQE/Site Sourcing Leader to drive Sourcing Strategy.
•Work closely with global SQEs and SQEs in the site for supplier development.
•Leading & following up with the GE team & suppliers in the region to implement RFQs (Request For Quotation) packages, negotiate pricing and supply Agreement, implement Terms & Conditions in line with sourcing strategy;
•Build comprehensive strategic supplier relationships while also developing negotiation strategies to achieve stated goals and objectives including deflation & capacity;
•Review the supplier capacity, delivery
•Proactively leads spend analysis, supplier development, supplier negotiations and contract implementation to meet overall deflation and productivity objectives.
•Drive supplier selection, development, and monitoring and overall supplier management in accordance with the broad GE Renewable sourcing functions.
•Lead supply base consolidation and supplier improvement initiatives.
•Work effectively with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Site Commodity Leader on issue resolutions and cost reduction opportunities
Yêu cầu công việc Qualification/ Requirements:
•Bachelor’s Degree & Minimum of5 years in Sourcing for industrial business (mechanical, machining, fabrication, electrical, metal,…)
•Previous experience in Materials and Manufacturing commodity management
•Demonstrated negotiation skills, contract development and business law knowledge;
•Business processes / Sourcing activities / Program management experiences
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
•Ability to work, motivate and influence in a cross-functional, multi-site, global team environment
•Strong financial planning, analytical and critical-thinking skills
•Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
•Proactive self-starter and change agent
•Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset
•Six Sigma trained, or with strong process discipline
•Program graduate (GE Employees only)
